The truth is that we could have gone directly to the truly reliable source such as the dictionary, but the central idea is not just to define the meaning of each of these words, but to know what is the use that we must give them, on which occasion we can use an or another but more important, especially knowing what is the difference that exists between them.

When we talk about informing, this is nothing more than making information known throughout a message without the need for feedback. In other words, pass on information from the mailer to the receiver, and voila, we already reported. Illustration:
“The leader says the following starting tomorrow the check-in time is at 8:30 am and the checkout time is at 5:30 pm. On this occasion, we are currently informing, as no response is required from the receptor”.

What is communication about?

Communicating is considered a social process since it involves human beings and their interactions with different intentions, motivations, and abilities, and consists of the sender sending a message to its receiver so that the latter can decode it and send a coded response to the sender, which has already become a receiver by decoding the sender's response; therefore we can say that communication is two-way, it goes from the sender to the receiver and vice versa.
Although this is a topic of discussion, it can be said that a lot of research has been done on this aspect, but there is a quite clear difference and that is that to communicate is to deal with someone orally, or in writing waiting for a response, unlike reporting that feedback does not necessarily occur. What does this mean? That a receiver response, either verbal or physical is expected upon hearing or receiving the communication.
The information as such does not make any sense if we do not need to know something, that is to say in a natural science book it talks about the importance of taking care of nature, the types of plants, roots, etc. But if we are not concerned with knowing this information, it will remain there on the books until we have the need to inform ourselves.
Regarding communication as coordination, this brings the dimension of the invention of new operations or strategic spaces of action and the immensity of commitments that are established to make it come true. Thereby, we can say that an organization is based on a declaration of roles, which in itself constitutes a conversation. Regulations and controls correspond to statements, which also constitute a conversation.
In short, we can say that communication is exchanging messages between two or more individuals, for example, when we receive a text message, an email, a letter, or someone tells you a story, and even when they listen to you, all of this constitutes a way of Communicate and all of them present the elements of communication: a sender, message-receiver, and feedback.
While information is a kind of data processed for use instantly or in the future depending on the need presented to the individual at the time of knowing information, that is to say, that whenever we speak or send a message without receiving feedback, we are talking about information.
